Shades of Color

Children will explore the colors they see around them and investigate different shades of the same color. They’ll make light and dark shades using paint and food coloring, and look closely at shades of colors in nature. They’ll also examine different tones of skin color.

Examine the many different kinds of green found in nature.

Make lighter shades of paint.
