In the spring, if you have a chance, visit a farm, animal fair, or even a pet shop to observe baby animals.
Sometimes the babies are kept in a separate area, but you may be allowed to see them if you ask.
Observe one kind of baby closely.
How is it different from its parents? How is it the same? When you can, look at other kinds of babies, even people babies. Are some more different from their parents than others? Are some more the same?
