Today, children explore different colors indoors and outdoors, and describe their favorite color.
Children explore the different colors they see around them and investigate different shades of the same color. They’ll make light and dark shades using paint and food coloring, and look closely at colors in nature. On Friday, they’ll examine different tones of skin color—in a book, art project, and in their own lives.
