Review today’s explorations and ideas about color.

 

Have examples of children’s work at hand as they talk about what they observed and discovered while mixing colors of paint. Write any new ideas and information on the “Mixing New Colors” chart.

Then take a look at the “Colors Around Us” chart and review anything children might have said about the difference between water and paint colors. Ask them to compare mixing colors of paint and mixing colors of water. How were those two experiences different and similar? What did you enjoy mixing the most? Why?
